Case Study
Streamline Software
Streamline Software had an old version of software built for screen printers and embroidery specialists, which was not working quite how they wanted. They came to Mojoe to build a new web-based app so they could focus on what they do best.

1. The Company
When Sandy Britt started her own screen printing & embroidery business in 1997, she had no idea that it would grow so large, so quickly. As most small shop owners do, she took her orders on triplicate paper tickets. She gave a copy to the customer, one to the Art Dept., and one for herself to follow throughout the shop. She quickly realized that this manual system was dated and not going to cut it! She searched and searched for software to run her business with, but nothing worthwhile was out there for this industry.
In 2007, her company grossed $750k with manual tickets. Keeping up with all of the orders became unbearable and almost impossible to follow.
2. The Challenge
“The challenge in developing software to manage the processes and orders of a printing and embroidery company is ensuring that it is able to handle the unique and complex nature of the industry. This includes the ability to handle multiple orders at once, with different design and customization options for each, as well as accurately calculating pricing and tracking inventory. Additionally, the software must be able to seamlessly integrate with other systems such as accounting and shipping software. The software also should be user-friendly and easy to navigate for employees with varying levels of technical proficiency. To meet these challenges, our team is dedicated to staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, as well as gathering feedback from our clients to continually improve and evolve our software.”
3. The Process
The process of managing a printing and embroidery company using our software would involve the following steps: Order input, design and customization, pricing calculation, inventory management, order processing, shipping and delivery, reporting, and customer service and support. These processes are automated to save time, reduce errors, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
4. The Solution
To develop this software for managing the processes and orders of a printing and embroidery company, the following steps were taken: Gather requirements, design the user interface, develop the core functionality, test and debug, deploy and maintain, and continuously improve. This would require a team of software developers, designers, and QA engineers, technologies like a web framework, ReactJS for the front end, and a database management system to store the data. It is important to consider the team, technologies, budget, and time frame for the success of the project.
Streamline Software
Project Features
With an old version of software built for printers that weren’t quite working the way they needed it to, Streamline approached Mojoe to build a new web-based application. In turn, the software provided a new opportunity—to replicate the system, turn it around and sell it as a service to others.

Mobile Web Design
Good mobile web design is the best and powerful way to make your business stand out from the crowd.
SAAS Web Application
Software as a Service (SaaS) and web applications are two different types of software solutions that are used to provide services to customers.
Web Design & Development
Involving two major skill sets: web design and web development determine the look and feel of a website, while web development determines how it functions.
This project combines elegant and yet seamless desktop too mobile responsiveness, and user-friendly design to create an immersive web experience.
A story in Research
Given an outdated software designed for printers that did not meet their specific needs, Streamline Software approached Mojoe for software development and application design expertise to create a modern web-based application. This presented an exciting opportunity for Streamline Software to not only replicate and improve the existing system but also transform it into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) web application that could be marketed and sold to other interested parties.
