Company Background:
TalkTools, founded by Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson, serves those with speech, oral placement, and feeding disorders by providing individualized care with educated and qualified therapists. These therapists use an innovative Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) that can help improve speech and feeding skills for people of all ages and diagnoses. The OPT lessons are available both online and in-person, allowing flexibility for clients who lead busy lives, but need essential help for themselves or their children.
The Challenge:
Owner Luke Blessinger decided to update his website and create four web pages with a custom theme for TalkTools. However, after attempting to work with another designer for a period of six months, no improvements had been made on the website. Luke found himself running out of time with nothing to show from that designer.
Collaboration:
To find a solution to his predicament, Luke turned to the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP), an organization focused on helping South Carolina’s manufacturers and companies grow and prosper their businesses. Using their connections and expertise, SCMEP connected Luke with Mojoe in March of this year, and the rest is history.
The Solution:
To update Luke’s website, Mojoe helped migrate Luke’s data into his new theme, giving content to the upgraded design. Our talented developers created a custom wireframe for the four new web pages, then followed through with a beautiful design that artfully complemented and integrated with the theme of the website. Always going above and beyond, we did not stop our work there. Our developers exceeded Luke’s expectations by customizing the functionality of his calendar. Luke’s e-learning and in-person learning events are now displayed on separate calendars, with a customized filtration system to help customers find events more easily. The use of tags on each event allowed for automatic population of the course’s time, date, place, and presenter on the calendar.
